Fire Emergency Information 2017

Tuolumne County Incident Feed offers the latest information during a local emergency or wildfire through its Live Scanner. This will open a live audio stream of local fire, emergency and police.

To report a fire anywhere in the state, call 911.

For up-to-the-minute information, DO NOT CALL 911 or dispatch numbers for county sheriffs’ offices or fire departments.

Instead, public safety officials say, in Tuolumne, Calaveras and Amador counties use the phone numbers and sources that follow.

The number above is the Office of Emergency Services – Call for recorded, updated fire and evacuation information.  For general questions regarding emergency procedures, call (209) 223-6384.

To sign up for email emergency alerts, visit co.amador.ca.us and click on “emergency information.”  To sign up for CodeRED, Amador County’s phone, text, email and TDD/TTY emergency notification system, visit amadorsheriff.org.

For info on larger fires, call Cal Fire’s Amador-El Dorado Unit: (530) 644-2345.

To hear emergency radio advisories broadcast from a limited-range transmitter set up by OES during fires and other disasters: 530AM.

To sign up for email or text message alerts on fires and other disasters from the Shieriff’s Office and other public safety agencies, register online at nixle.com or sheriff.calaverasgov.us. To sign up for CodeRED, visit calaverasgov.us.

If an incident warrants evacuations, an emergency notification system will be initiated; register for Citizen Alert System Notification online at tuolumnecounty.ca.gov.

Red Cross

To let family members know you are safe during a disaster, list your name online with redcross.org/safeandwell, a free service.  Hotline for those displaced by fire or natural disaster: (855) 891-7325. Call the Sonora office at (209) 533-1513, the Sacramento office at (916) 993-7070, or visit online, redcross.org.

Salvation Army
