Calaveras County

Calaveras-County-Transit croCalaveras Transit Bus service countywide, also to Columbia College and twice daily to Stockton,  (209) 754-4450, transit.calaverasgov.us.

Silver Streak Transports Offers donation-based rides to health and wellness appointments in Calaveras County and beyond for those over 60, veterans and disabled adults unable to use traditional transit, (209) 498-2246, commongroundseniorservices.org.

Volunteer Center of Calaveras County Provides rides to older adults (medical appointments and more) and the disabled, (209) 754-1699, calaverasvolunteer.com.

 

Tuolumne County

Tuolume County Transit (tuolumnecountytransit.com) released the following chart of non-emergency transportation options as of September 2017:

Sierra Senior Providers Based at the Senior Center on Greenley Road in Sonora, provides seniors age 60-plus with in-county, weekday rides to medical or related appointments or essential errands, van with wheelchair capability, donation suggested, (209) 533-2622, sierraseniorproviders.org.

Tuolumne County Transit Buses run Mon.-Sat., Dial-A-Ride available, (209) 532-0404, tuolumnecountytransit.com. Click the image below to view the Dial-A-Ride video. 

Trip Program Offers rides for disabled, veterans and seniors unable to use other transportation options; county subsidizes rides to medical appointments from outlying areas; riders must arrange driver and vehicle, (209) 532-0404, tuolumnecountytransit.com.

Wheels Program Offers free rides for Groveland residents age 60-plus; uses volunteer drivers in private vehicles. Call one day in advance for Groveland area, one week for Sonora, (209) 962-6952, thelittlehouse.org.

YARTS Bus to Yosemite National Park Connects with other local and intercity transit services to provide easy access to the Yosemite Region, 1-877-989-2787, yarts.com
